Good Turn Out for Training
Thanks to the 13 boys and 9 girls who attended training last Saturday. It enabled us to start to put things together for the Inter-Tertiary Competition, with the men able to play a full match and try out some different combinations.
The women's team is improving rapidly and getting more control by the day. At times this team looks formidable and the challenge will be to turn these moments into passages of time.
The men's team are now at a point whee they are worth watching, with some powwerful attacking skills on display. Still some confusion about who should be where, especially from thiose who are not training consistently. However all in all the team is shaping up very well in preparation for the Fiji Volleyball Federation Tournaments coming up early in 2006.
This coming Saturday, 10th September 2005, both teams will trial against representative teams from Fiji commencing at 1pm at the USP Gym as part of their preparation for Inter-Tertiary action.
